Garden Photography
Vicki is Garden Photographer at The Italian Garden at Great Ambrook. She also supplies images to GAP, the specialist garden photo library. Vicki is adept at general garden images as well as specialising in artistic, natural macro shots. Vicki uses professional Canon gear as well as an Ondu 120 film pinhole camera for her garden photography. Prices for garden and flower sessions start at £80 per hour. Perfect for advertising, promotional, archival and commentary use. Vicki is always looking for new gardens to photograph.
Photography Courses
Vicki has written a full day 'Introduction to Digital Photography Course' that covers everything from camera types through to getting off of auto, composition techniques, file types and much more. A typical course is classroom teaching in the morning working through a 30 page manual and then moving outside in the afternoon to put into practise the mornings learning. The day finishes with a friendly, group critique of images taken during the afternoon session. This course is perfect to be run by gardens, charities and businesses. Prices start at £600 for up to 8 participants and includes a printed manual for each person.
Photography Workshops
Vicki runs half day workshops on a variety of subjects and can write something specific tailored to your requirements if necessary. Workshops have included, 'Photograph the Garden', 'Macro and Abstract Photography', 'Improve Your Photography', 'Autumn Colours' and 'Mindfulness in Photography' as well as children's journalism workshops. These are perfect for gardens, charities & businesses. Prices start at £160 per half day and usually for up to 8 participants.
Mindfulness Workshops
Vicki also runs half day workshops teaching mindfulness and meditation.
