Exhibitions
Vicki has been exhibiting her work for over 20 years. She has had successful solo exhibtions as well as taking part in larger projects. In recent years she has exhibited regularly with Incidental Imagery - a group of female artists who share the same concerns in life. Her solo exhibitions were held before she met any fellow creatives in Devon and were held at the Intel headquarters and the Picture House.
Art Farm Project 2006
Vicki was a part of the hugely successful Art Farm project at Roccombe Farm, Stokeinteignhead for the second year running. For this exhibtion, Gill Greatorex and Vicki were awarded an Arts Council grant to create a huge joint project incorporating large vinyl photographic prints which were then shredded and interwoven into willow hurdles, creating a site specific piece. After the Art Farm Project, 'The Two Sides of Farming' was moved to Organic Arts in Exeter where it was exhibited for a another year. Vicki & Gill have kept the shredded vinyl from the photographic images and intend to create another art piece from them one day...
Devon Open Studio's 2007
Vicki joined forces with fellow artists Luci Coles & Gill Greatorex for Devon Open Studio's. This was the inaugral Incidental Imagery exhbiiton...the first of many!
Devon Open Studio's 2008
Following on from their successful exhibtion the previous year, Incidnetal Imagery got together again, with more local artists to exhibit again. This time they took over a local scout hut and offered quirky, arty cakes too!
